The Suvi Caftan Dress is an easy-to-sew, versatile dress pattern featuring two stylish variations: a relaxed mini dress and an elegant bohemian-inspired maxi dress.

Both versions feature a deep V-neckline, extended shoulder sleeves and a loose, comfortable silhouette gathered at the waist with a cord. The maxi version adds gathered shoulders, plus a second waist cord for additional shaping and a more refined finish. Depending on your fabric choice, Suvi can be made as a casual everyday dress, a sophisticated evening dress or a stylish holiday cover-up.

Choose lightweight woven fabrics with no stretch.

For a light, airy silhouette, use fabrics with body such as double gauze, cotton lawn or washed linen.

For a softer, more fluid finish, select drapey fabrics such as viscose challis, crepe or satin.
