Raff The Giraffe Pattern By Funky Friends Factory

Raff is the latest addition to the "Out of Africa” range by Funky Friends Factory. He looks great in all sorts of colours and prints — if you use a bright, funky fabric you won’t need to sew on spots, but templates for giraffe-shaped spots are included.

Recommended fabrics: Quilting cottons, homespun fabrics, or knit/stretch fabrics such as fleece, velour or chenille for a softer cuddly version.

Specific requirements:

Main fabric – sufficient to cut body and head pieces per layout (see pattern instructions).

Contrast/felt – for spots, if desired (or use printed fabric instead of applique spots).

Optional: Lightweight interfacing if using very stretchy or floppy fabric.

Polyester thread in matching colour.

Marking tool (fabric pencil or chalk).

Craft eyes (or embroidered eyes for baby-safe version).

Toy-stuffing material.

Standard sewing supplies (scissors, pins, needles, etc.).
