Mitch the Moose is a fun, characterful soft toy with big antlers, a chunky body and a friendly face. He looks fantastic made up in all kinds of fabrics — from bold prints to natural tones — and his large antlers give him plenty of personality. A great project for creating a woodland-themed companion or a festive moose friend.

Recommended fabrics: Quilting cottons, homespun fabrics, corduroy, fleece, velour, chenille or minky. Most non-stretch or soft-stretch fabrics work well.

Specific requirements:

Main fabric – amount required to cut body and head pieces according to pattern layout.

Contrast fabric – for antlers and muzzle (optional).

Felt or small fabric scrap for nose.

Craft eyes in size recommended by the pattern.

Polyester thread in matching colour.

Marking tool.
