This baby-faced teddy bear is specifically designed for sewing lovely keepsakes. With a heart-shaped nose, cute up-turned muzzle, arms & legs sewn into the seams for easier construction, large flat areas for embroidery (tummy, back, arms & foot-pads) and a chubby bottom for extra "hugginess”, it’s perfect for marking a milestone, creating a memorial or sewing just for you!

Recommended fabrics: Most fabrics work well; when using thin or very stretchy fabrics, apply medium-weight fusible interfacing to stabilise. You can mix fabrics—perfect for keepsake bears from baby clothing.

Specific requirements:

Main fabric – 38 cm × 110 cm (15 in × 44 in) wide.

Contrast fabric – 20 cm × 55 cm (8 in × 22 in) wide.

Embroidery thread for nose and mouth.

Small felt scrap for nose piece.

18 mm black craft eyes.

Medium iron-on interfacing – 50 cm × 110 cm (20 in × 44 in) wide.

Polyester thread in matching colour.

Marking tool (fabric pencil or chalk).

Craft eyes – 18 mm (or embroidered eye version for baby-safe option).
