Everyone loves Santa Claus, especially when he brings you ALL you want for Christmas! Father Christmas looks great in all sorts of Christmas fabrics, not just red and green, although he was told he HAS to have green mittens! This big, huggable Santa buddy would be happy under the tree or on a shelf next to your favourite elf!

Most fabrics work well. Quilting cottons were used in the sample, but you can also use cuddle or fleece, and long-pile fur for the beard.

Main fabric – 25 cm × 110 cm (10 in × 43 in).

Face fabric – 10 cm × 45 cm (4 in × 17.75 in).

Hair fabric – 20 cm × 55 cm (8 in × 21.5 in).

Mitten fabric – 11 cm × 45 cm (4 in × 17.75 in).

Boot fabric – 21 cm × 43 cm (8.25 in × 17 in).

Fake fur (for beard/trim) – 13 cm × 35 cm (5 in × 14 in).

Black felt – 15 cm × 15 cm (6 in × 6 in).

Scraps of pink and yellow felt.

Craft eyes – 12 mm (0.5 in) black.

Bell – 20 mm (0.75 in) or a pom-pom.

Polyester thread in matching colour.
